I am an instructional designer with a focus on content development.
With a background in fabrication and animation, I bring a hands-on understanding of physical processes and a visual storytelling approach to designing interactive learning experiences.
I was raised in Connecticut with a deep love for art and its ability to fully capture our attention and communicate ideas. I explored this passion for storytelling in Savannah, GA, where I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design. While immersed in art academia, I became increasingly interested in how visual storytelling could make complex information more digestible—and much more memorable.
After graduation, I moved to Los Angeles, where I worked in animation production and marionette fabrication. These roles gave me hands-on experience with real-world systems, sequencing, and presenting content clearly to an audience. They also shaped how I think about cause and effect—an essential consideration when designing learning experiences.
An introduction to instructional design revealed a natural next step: a way to combine systems thinking, visual communication, and problem-solving to create practical, learner-centered training. Today, I design interactive learning experiences that prioritize clarity, engagement, and real-world application.
My background spans fabrication, animation, and instructional design. Working directly with tools and physical processes informs how I approach safety, decision-making, and consequences, while my animation experience guides how I design intuitive, engaging interactions.
